This show how we do can lights in vaulted ceiling. We install ridged foam board with sheet rock behind the light.
Roofing foam is water proof after 1.5” but
does need a covering to protect it from U.V. lights. In this picture
a skilled applicator is installing an Elastomeric coating to the
foam.

Volatile Free’s VFI-540R Aluminum Polyurea being applied over an existing rubber roof. The easiest way to describe Polyurea is it is like a spray on bed liner for a pickup.
This is the Carroll Chamber of Commerce Depot. This is one of our signature projects. We applied Sealection500 open cell spray foam insulation for sound control and its thermal properties. This building sets 10’ from about 100 freight trains a day flying by. They needed a quite place to work. Stop and see them. They will show you how well it works!
